Wanted: 300SDL engine
I need an engine for a '87 Mercedes 300SDL.
Does anyone know where one is available? I am in Florida. I would prefer a long block ready to drop in. I will have it shipped in if it is out of state. Last edited by ryates; 07-08-2004 at 05:28 PM.

I've seen a rebuilt SDL motor on eBay every once and a while from some place in Florida.

Florida is a big state. Are you willing to drive 300 miles each way to get an engine? Noel's in Orlando may be able to provide one. Also check with Potomac German Auto in Daytona.

I have one in Washington State that has 110k on it. It is ready to bolt in and is in great shape.
There is a distance, however.

There's always some available on ebay, sometimes the add will not say 603 longblock but if you look at it will say what all they have available.
