Nozzles and EGR
Hello
This week-end i was working on my 300sd I changed the nozzles and blocked the EGR valve (for track testing...) I put everything back togheter but my fuel return lines leak a bit of diesel can i simply remove them and block the return on the injectors ? did i miss something when i put them back ? for the egr can someone tell me where the little line goes ? (the one on top of the EGR valve) should i see some improvments in performance or economy ? or only less smoke from the egr ? My old nozzles seemed cooked on the inside is that normal or something went wrong with the previous owner ? i changed the nozzles on my Jetta 2001 at 100k for bigger ones and the tip wasn't that messy. my 300sd has 414k km next big job:valve clearence |
