92 300 sd vs 94 350 sd

Which of these two cars is more reliable in the long run? I remember reading one had a potential engine problem, but can't recall which it was wise to avoid.

They both can have the engine problem. Despite the different names, they both have the 3.5 liter OM603. In terms of general chassis reliability, the 94 will be better.
