Well, I wouldn't mind owning it!

This fellow advertises fairly frequently on e-bay and he frequently does find pristine examples of older vehicles. Whether they are worth what he wants for them is questionable. However, for that one in a million vehicle.......................................

A vehicle is worth what someone is willing to pay. For that SD, if its as clean as it looks and he says it is, is likely worth the "buy it now" price. Why? Where else are you going to find one like it? Every day that passes there are fewer and fewer cars like this available. Considering what it sold for originally its still got a fantastic amount of value left in it.

I'd be surprised if he sells it, but, I've been surprised before, LOL!

Are those rims original for a 300SD? I have never seen that design before...

Those rims definitely did not come original with the SD. I have seen them around every so often. Fairly costly.

The wheels are 16 inch Centra alloys--very popular boulevard wheels when the car was current. Super heavy...NOT a performance alloy wheel. Performance Products still has an inventory of them for those who like them, but VERY expensive.

Not me, the old iron 4 and 5 cylinder engines are world famous for their longevity. It seems like after they went to the aluminum/iron combination, that they started having issues.

Exclamation

Diesel Power,

I agree about the all iron engines. I wish my 300SDL 6 cylinder had an iron head.
