300TD Owners (past or present)
On my '87 300TD I am unable to solve what I believe should be an easy problem . . . how to get the lense portion of the center brake light off so I can remove the inner panel. I am trying to get at the wiper motor. On my particular year/model the carpeted trim has a narrow piece behind the brake light so the light has to be removed. I have pried the reflector part off but cannot see how the rest is removed. I know these are fragile since mine was broken prior to me owning it. Thanks.

Solved my own problem. I didn't need to remove it to get the rear panel off. I have worked at this little problem longer than I would like to admit. My intent was to test the rear wiper motor. Did that too. Bound up. Oh well . . .
