Wow, what a difference!

according to all of you who advised so, I had my car in at the mechanic yesterday and did a valve adjustment. In addition, the biggest single effective repair, had all three motor mounts changed.

The car I received back was a completely different automobile! Ran smooth, started differently, no rumble when driving. Much better acceleration. I guess the problems get progressively worse so that you never notice the gradual deterioration while you drive.

Needless to say, I drove the car off the shop as if I had stolen it!

I recommend these things heavily to the novice reading the posts.

Little Old Lady?

No, I am not the Little Old Lady from Pasadena. Are you the night stalker in town we are looking for?
BTW the repair ticket shows my gender.
When you get to town, I give you a ride in the 6.9, please use seat belts....
