I took the plunge!!!!
I hope I made the right choice. My 300D has been a wonderfull car so far but I work in sales and put about 500 miles a week on her. Needless to say, I can expect to maintain the car more often with these miles. I'm a pretty good DIYer with a very limited toolbox so bigger stuff I tend to have done by a pro.
I saved money for awhile and just had the front end suspension and springs rebuilt, and also a second trip for the air conditioning compressor. She runs beautiful and is nice and cool inside, drives straight, new tires etc... I spent more than I actually PAID for the car!!! I guess this would be a strong arguement in favor of doing it myself but front end and air conditioning are way out of my league and tool collection. New cars are so expensive and my 123 has been a jewel, so lets hope she lives up to her reputation...I certainly can't afford anything else for awhile!!!

"Helga"
love to see it, know the feeling! You can find me at the Red Lion Tavern most afternoons 4-6 (ask for Frank) or give me a call (626) 794-5189. We might exchange some ideas.
