That transmission on German Ebay sold for 399 EUR, which seems like a reasonable price. If the shipping really costs $300, though, that makes it kind of tough.

So the 5 speed is back together after a good cleaning, one new synchro, new seals, etc.

grimgaunt has first dibs on it, but will post in the parts forum if he passes, so..., what would be a "good" price for someone here?

It cost me ~$100 with core charge, 2 hours of work to pull (hot, sweaty work with about 6" of clearance laying in the dirt!) then a synchro and 5 seals and about 4 hours of shop work to make it work and look pretty.
