i kno its been covered before but i think it would be best for me to go for an aftermarket turbo with a t3 flange, so what is a good priced t3 turbo with a vnt that i could use for my 617? |
None exist.

Forced, do you know if the exhaust manifold of the 2.7 cdi from the sprinter is any different from the om602 5 cylinder exhaust manifold?
2 Attachment(s)
Its a completely different engine.
2L CDI:OM602 |
The 2.7l cdi is a 5 cylinder engine an not 4. Maybe it is a derivative of the 2.9 liter which is a derivative of the 2.5 om602. Is that correct?
No, they are nothing alike. The 2L CDI was used as an example of the port and stud placement.
so there is no t3 vnt turbos? that sux...
T-series turbos are very old and inefficient technology, its been around since WWII. GT and Holset turbos are far better, they were designed and tested in the 90's-00's with the help of computers.
Ive got a 603 in my 300SDL...what turbos could I get that would bolt right up?
Nothing will bolt right up except the turbo from the 3.5L 603.
...and that turbo isnt going to be a big improvement either is it? Have you seen the youtube video of the 2 Mercedes diesels that supposedly have 400hp? What have they done to get that sorta power!?

FI,
Do you know what turbo the 2.9 liter om602 uses? Is the exhaust manifold the same as 2.5 liter om602? |

The T3-55 will be a little more efficient and support more airflow, but it won't make a supercar out of it. Quote:
