OM617 Oil Filter Relocation Plates

OM617 engine or similar engine which has the same plate footprint. I bought these from Walt Z. a while back when he was selling them on S T D d o t com.

$65.00 shipped CONUS. He was selling them for $50 plus shipping and I found my USPS money order and it was for $62.00. Add PayPal fees of 4% and that puts the amount at $65.00. I never used them. I had others made and that is why I am selling these.

He was on S T D dot com. He stopped selling them - I do remember that. I will try to remember his forum name. It was a series of letters. Also, remember his sets were thin and series 6000 aluminum. The ones I was selling were 1+” thick and series 7000 aluminum

I don't know which one of the various Mercedes forums I got this pic from but it is amazing in that it uses what appears to be 1/4" thick un-machined steel that was cut with a torch. Which one would think would be too thin of a material for the job but worked anyway.

The idea of building the Oil Filter end of it into the mounting bracket is also interesting.
