That's not the parts car that we're picking over is it? It looks too sweet, I think i'll have a good excuse to bring out my new Digital SLR. I havent used it since i got it.

Actually, that is a parts car. I bought her for the 120K mile drivetrain. After finding no rust and a few minor issues I can't bring myself to dismantle it.

You know you have it bad when you start restoring the "parts" car. This makes number three.

Perfect weather.

First one there gets to help round up cattle, Jimmy.

That's fine

Everyone told me that my 6.9 was a parts car

It turned out pretty well in the end.

I tried driving them both at the same time once but failed miserably.

The car was quite an effort. You can see the full resto in 10 phases on http://alabbasi.net/450SEL.htm

While it has issues with the body, the mechanical and the interior were in pretty decent shape. I've really enjoyed driving it.

It took a while to find the ranch but once I got there, I had a blast. It was great meeting other members in the area and Dan was a fantastic host.

Here are some pictures two pictures from the meeting. I've created a gallery under: http://www.w108.org/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=Events . If anyone else wants to add pictures to the gallery, please send them to als6point (at) gmail.com (replace (at) with @).

Now I need to read the GPS manual and learn how to find a location through coordinates.
