well guys, unfortunately i will not be able to attend...:( I guess i should probably spend the money that i would have spent on gas over there for the rack dampner bolt so my car will finally idle right. Take lots of pictures for me!!!

If it is raining hard like it has for the past day straight I think maybe we should call it off. Anyone else?

I just came in from washing my car. It is sunny and beautiful out. I am going, and will chance getting caught in a rain. I think the sun will hold out for us, according to the weatherman anyway.

Really sunny over here guys, and warming up. Will be heading out there in about a half hour. Hope it's not just me and two others.

It went well. We had a good turnout, a handful of cars, new and older, C, E, SL and S class. Beautiful weather too. ebennz is going to post the names of those in attendance, and I believe there was a digital camera floating around. There should be some good photos coming up. I am anxious to see how my 560 looks.

i had a great time today!
we had about 10-11 people there from the 3 most popular web sites.

it was a pleasure to meet everyone and now have some faces to put with the names.

slbenz1 has a very awesome '89 560sl with euro lights and even the headlight wipers.

it is a shame and a let down to know that mbkid/matt is a closet "RICER" with a coffee can exhaust! lol
NOT really, i told him i'd rag him about his tail pipe.

i'll post pictures when i get back to west virginia.

thanks for commin out guys, especially the ones who had the long drive. it was a great turn-out and awesome to be able to put a face to a screen name. maybe we can do it some other time, so until then....

Man I wish I could have been there after putting some work into it I could not go. Oh well, I had a MBCA autocross event that was secduled for saturday and of course it got rained out, so we had it on sunday. The autocross was a blast tire smoke every where, and tons of awsome cars 2 SLK32's (one was my dads, he did not push it because he is still breaking it in). I did very well and came in second over all in the autocross event. The course was more of a handleing course, than flat out speed, so I am happy that I did so well against the more nimble cars.
I would realy like to meet everyone since I could not be there, I am thinking in a Drag meeting, in 6 weeks or so.

yeah, as usual, pretty busy with flying, i think i have seen your car, its nice, and under the cover most of the time.

You see so many Mercedes here in Daytona Its hard to tell if you know they car are not
