Clear headlight lenses for S500 coupe

Hello all, I'm about to start a project on an S500 coupe and am trying to find out about the headlights. Most cars I have seen have a yellow insert in the corner of the headlight lens, but I have some pics where the whole assembly looks clear. Are these european lights that I see, or is there a way to take out the yellow insert, or is it part of the lens itself? Can just the headlight cover be purchased (without the yellow inset)?
