Yes. I can get to some model, but I can not "exit". I think there are still some issues.

Also today I tried to get in again, it asks for login. Mine is expired but I can not renew for some reason. And the contact us is broken. Also when I tried to create a new account, the personal use "free" option is now gone.

Here are some screen shots showing the circular nature of the issue....

Any way to get to Disc 2?

When you are on this page

There should be a link to disc 2 too

Try moving the mouse around to see if it changes from a pointer to a finger (indicating that there is a link)...

I can see it on my computer

This is the link

Untitled Document

I think you are experiencing browser related problems - this appears to have been the problem all along. It is a problem at "their" end - they seem to be using old software.

I got it now and I created a bookmark to my car. I had to start back at the very beginning and did through that way to get to the manuals. Then no issue. Seems that once you are in a disc, at least in my case, you are stuck there.

Here is the link I use now, it goes right to a 91 560 SEL.

It is a pain in the arse isn't it?

The information is there.

It is available.

It is just getting there...

True. Although, as I posted in my other thread about relays, I am not sure if the information is always accurate. I can not get the colors to match up to what the diagrams show. Could be that I am reading them wrong I guess. And I know my german color codes, so thats not the issue.

Hi Joe and welcome to the forum.

To be honest ever since startek put this information on their site there has been nothing but trouble.

I guess it will be because you are using too modern a web browser.

If you look back through this thread you can get some hints for making your own URLs - and directly accessing the PDFs. As I've said before it is a pain in the arse.

Furthermore I noticed the other day that all of the OM617 engine chapters were missing. This isn't the best source of information but it is a start...

If you have a US postal address you stand a good chance of getting some help from them as you can fill out the "contact us" details on their site.

Good luck.

It is going to be interesting, 20 years from now, how they will make the SDS system available for the cars that are being sold new today. On the other hand I'm not so sure that the new cars being sold today will be worth trying to keep on the road 20 years from now.

Window 7
FireFox 9.0.1

When I load it, it wants a plug in which it can't locaate, but it runs fine without it. At least the 124 manual.

Our others able to use it now?

Can you get to the PDFs?

(The plug in isn't necessary - I think it does some sort of animation - it doesn't help with the access to the information anyway... )

Yes, I have opened several on the first disc. I haven't tried the second one yet.
