Where is the car locateed? My family's been looking for a 560 for my mom to drive. At first I wanted her to get a newer Taurus, but they're too small, and she liked the size of the 420 she use to have.

George, the car is nice. I have another question though. What did you do about your clear coat that you were looking to have re-done? I am in the same boat..

This was on my former W126, 1986 420SEL. I decided to just leave it alone. I have since upgraded to the 560SEL which has no clear coat issues.

George I am sorry, I did not realize till I read your reply that my question might imply THIS car had the problem. Again this car looks great and is a very nice deal. We just bought an 88 560SEL and I can't believe the power it has. This is the one I have a clearcoat problem with.
