The car is a 1976 MB 300d with a straight 5-cylinder engine. I have the CD from Mercedes that is a guide/ repair manual and also the Haynes Manual for this car. It is located in Madison Wisconsin.

Its problems-

-Brakes stick (I think it’s a brake caliper)
-Exhaust needs some work
-Dent at rear passenger door/ Quarter panel
-And like all old diesels (or so I’ve been told) it leaks oil from the valve cover gasket, and around the oil pan area

I’ve fixed-
- Back brakes
- Fuel Line
- New Fuel Filters

I’ve attached a pic(the car is a custard yellow color, don’t know how well it shows up in the pics) and can take more if you are interested.

This is an old car (3 years away from a classic) and so, while it runs and drives, it is a “project car”. I have $1200 in the car, but am selling it for $900 obo due to the reasons listed above.

Three dimed sized rust holes above the left headlight assembly.

Surface rust on the dent at the rear passenger door

a couple of silver dollar sized holes on the drivers side floor board
