Nice SL
First off, I have to say that I seem to always have problems viewing pictures on those hosting forums... is it just me? ? ?
VERY nice SL; not to rub it in, but I would assume that you are taking quite a loss on this sale. You seem to have an SL that has been very well invested in & all in the right areas (Engine & AT etc.). That color combo is outstanding; really classy & timeless. It really stands out. It reminds me of the 560SEC that is also posted here (BAD posting, 1986...). Can you comment on the condition of the brakes? Again, great SL.

Thanks for the compliment on the car. I really like this color scheme too. It's still a head-turner, even after 26 years.
I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to see the pictures. The link works when I click on it. Anyone else having this problem? I'll have to look through the records and see when the brakes were last done. They were inspected in October as part of the minor service, and were not noted as a problem then. I'll get back to you on that. Thanks for your interest.

I saw an '83 in gold in VA for sale back in January. It had 101K, 2nd owner & super great condition *but* no maint records & no known extensive work done to the engine... the seller wanted $12k.
It was in very nice looking shape, very clean etc. but not nearly the maint. confidence that you are giving with your's. Very nice car / I think at a reasonable asking price... Like the 560SEC for sale in NJ, I think that color combo is very classy too.
