Thumbs up

Of course this is posted less than a week after we purchased a 93 300D for my daughter. Beautiful car, good luck with the sale!

That’s for mpg of D2 - since you will be running 80-90% on WVO, you will use 80-90% less D2 on a given trip.

Unless you own stock in Exxon, or just really feel led to tithe to foreign sheiks, its quite nice

108 mpg last fill up on D2. No one minds tithing to OPEC ?

fill up before that...143 mpg and my company paid me $525 in mileage to drive it to Greensboro and back. Burned less than 1 gal D2 on the trip

Its been a while since I hung out in DD, but a year ago, half of the population of this board would go out of their way to avoid a car that was run on WVO/SVO. Tough crowd here, but I'm sure epray/Craigslist will work.

Your car looks to be in good condition, If I read the ad correctly, you'll sell it for $1500 without the veg kit ? I am surprised someone hasnt jumped on that (perhaps they never read down that far). You never mentioned if it has a -14 head on it though.

I thought he meant that it would be discounted to $3400 without the Frybrid kit.

But nonetheless there is the #14 head question.

yes, #14 head. Never been overheated, works perfectly. There is NO issue with #14 heads provided you dont run the coolant up to 230F. The SDL I bought also has #14 head. The issue is over stated. A vehicle that will run 230F will destroy itself soon enough, regardless of what # head it has.

I will sell for $1500 without the Frybrid, hitch rack, and cruise amplifier. I will restate the ad to make it more clear, thanks for suggestions. As always, call, email, IM with any questions. 404-556-6663.

So you basically you are saying the Frybrid kit is worth $3400? Don't they sell NEW for around 2k? I would think a used kit would be worth even less.

Not trying to criticize, just seems weird that you would drop the price that much after taking the kit out.

It looks like a nice car.

Someone buy this car please. It's killing me that it's such a nice looking car priced so aggressively, I want the temptation removed.

The kit has many custom fabricated parts that took countless hrs. The kit is installed and functioning perfectly. To replicate that it would take alot of work. Buying the kit alone from Frybrid is an experience. You will plunk down $2k and not hear another word for months. When you do get the kit, good luck. It will be supplied without components and without any provision to actually mount it. In the 124, the job is very difficult to do right.

I will probably let it go with the kit for $4500 and $1500 without. Theres an additional $1k in parts alone to install the kit, nevermind a 100 hrs labor. The kit is very well designed, these components do not wear out (no plastic crap valves or anything else to wear out).

Fly down from NY, I will give you enough clean filtered wvo in clean cubbies to drive it home without involving OPEC
