I'm pretty sure that's what was done. But the speedo in my car looks the same that I've seen in other US spec cars. Or, I just wasn't paying close enough attention

same reason the put a tach in cars w/ auto trans. i shift the cars manually much of the time.

Yep But when I got new brakes, my indy had to use heat to remove something, which ruined one of the wheel sensors, so the ABS light is on all the time now. Sucks, cuz it worked pretty well.

Can't . Destroyed my back and hip in a deer wreck with the motorcycle so I don't travel well anymore. The 3 hours to DC area to pick up the CD was long enough that we had to stay in a motel overnight before coming back.
