Hi all, looking to get back into a W123 and would like to get my hands on a driver/nice 300TD turbo.

Let me know what you've got. I'm willing to travel a good distance for the right car/price. The more maintenance history, the better.

Would you consider a project car? I have an '82 that was painted (very nice job), but not put back together. It is light blue with a blue interior. It is in So. Cal.....Rich

You do realize that the market on these has gotten stupidly outrageous of late, I presume? Meaning that $8k is likely to get you a project or beater at best.

Yes, I have such a project car. It is less than $8,000, and has a $3,600 paint job. The car just needs to be put back together.
