1985 Mercedes Benz 300SD for sale
 

Greetings, I have owned this car since 2005. My father was the owner before me and he bought it used in 1991 from American Service Center in Arlington VA. I will list some positives and negatives. I am at work but will upload current pictures if there is any interest. There are some old pictures in the gallery. The paint has deteriorated a whole lot since then. I am asking $1,500(obo) cash or cashier's check.

Pros:
Family owned since 1991.
very reliable
Runs well and I believe it has many more miles ahead.
Mostly crack-free dash. Small crack by speaker grill.
Front windows work flawlessly.
Power seats work.
Brand new tires, less than 1,000 miles on them.
Very little rust, none visible but a little rust flakes on the bottom of the passenger door.
Recent oil change.
Blows heat with a little manipulation of HVAC controls.
Cons:
Fuel gauge is inoperable
Temperature gauge is inoperable
A/C is kaput. HVAC will need work to work properly.
Paint is bad, looks good ten feet away.
Two back windows inoperable
Odometer broke ten years ago. I don't think it has gone more than 10,000 miles in 10 years.
Antenna will not rise or lower
Tape player is inoperable but radio works.
I am sure I am forgetting some pros and cons but I am open to answer any serious questions. This car is located in Hendersonville, TN. I am trying this forum first in hopes that another enthusiast can enjoy this car.

Mileage?

The odometer stopped at 218,988 about 10 years ago. I had just filled up for about $4.00 a gallon and went to reset the trip. I assume the gear broke when I pressed it in
