Hi All:

I just installed a set of carbon kevlars on my 1987 260E and boy does this baby stop on a dime. It seem that the I have picked up at least 15 feet in stopping distance. It rocks.

It also stops a lot better when the pads get hot in traffic. I drive in stop and go traffic a lot. Gotta love that Hawaii traffic.

Aloha,
Eric

Noise and Dust

Hi Tommy:

The brand is porterfield's R4S. I know some people there so that helps on price. If you need some, let me know and I will let them know you are will be calling.

So far so good. No noise. I used BG Anti Squeal and so far no noise. As far as dust goes, it seems a little less than what the OEM pads that was on there.

How bad does it rock. If it rocks when braking,I would check your shocks.

Smooth As Silk

I have not experienced any rocking what so ever. It runs smoothly and feels great to stop with confidence.

Aloha,
Eric
