E320 upgrades for less than $1000

What can I do to slightly boost the performance of a W210 E320 that will not break the bank? I was thinking about maybe a chip but the only chips I can find are for V8s.

under $1000. Shift knob, door sill
plates, steering wheel, exhaust tips,
