I'm trying to pick up a pair of blue or hyperwhite lites for a 2000 C230K. I want to put them in the clear corners that I just bought to match the headlights. The size is 2357 and I can't find them anywhere. Has anyone seen these, knows a place where I can buy them or have any suggestions?

Thanks for the help!!

You might try

under the bulbs section.

on a side note, you might want to reconsider. while it will look good, the cops sure as hell wont like it.

Friend of mine got a fix it ticket from the cops for having clear bulbs in the indicators on his BMW. the indicators were so bright, that if you could get them to not flash, it would be almost as bright as the friggin headlights!!!

Changed them to orange and he had to take time off work to go get the ticket dismissed as he had it fixed. he had to let them check the bulbs to see they were orange.

You might want to look into the bulbs that glow orange when on, but silver when off.

Personally I would love to be able to have the bulbs not be orange at all, but I prefer to not get pulled over. heheh

lon:
The "silver off/orange on" would be my choice as well. I have heard that the hperwhites are a lot hotter bulb, while not putting out as much light. I almost hit a Rhonda (rice - honda) that had white turn indicator bulbs. They were so dim in the daylight that none of us saw he was turning.

May I make a suggestion? I think Ashman is refering to the Philips Silver Vision bulbs, which is shown in the picture below:

it has a silver layering over the bulb, so it will not have an orange hue that can be seen through your clear corners, and match in perfectly with your reflectors.

This is a car with clear corners but a normal orangy indicator bulb:

This is a car with the Philips Slver Vision bulb, notice you can't see anything?

However, when you are signalling, it will shine ORANGE!!!

Isn't science wonderful??? You can check 'em out at http://www.fosmo.com
