Hello,

Would anybody know the various spring pads offered for the '95 E420? I would also like to know how much the spring pads would cost, and how much it would cost for installation by the dealership. Thank you.

The spring pads should vary between 1/8" (pad #1) to about 1" for the pad #5. I don't know about labor costs; naturally, it will vary between shops.

...pads measured up in inches...

I only know that the spring pads for the W124 come in a thickness of 8mm/13mm/18mm/23mm/28mm...

The pads are not that expensive; it is just a rubber pad. I read in other posts that some shops ask $300 for installing them (which I find to expensive for the scope of work).

greetingz,

I just had the springs and pads replaced on my 1995 E420 (check out my comments in the performance section), and I went with the #1 pads. They were only about $20 each, so since the springs were getting taken out anyways there wasn't any additional labor costs.

Good luck with your mods,
