Hey, I am interested in getting clear corners for around 50 bucks, I just want to know who has them, and if you recommend getting them. If you have pictures even better.
My car is a 1987 300E.

I've got them. Only get real ones (read Bosch). The fake ones look fake.

Make sure you get the real deal and go for the Bosch. I remembered I bought some from Performance Products and those did not fit nicely. I opted for the Bosch from Bekkers and those fit in tightly and felt like originals not fake. A while back there was a website which sold clear corners for a good price but the name doesn't come to mind, you can try to do a search on them. Good Luck.

Fake ones look zactly the same. I have one Bosch and one M.I.T (made in Taiwan). Can't tell the difference once they're on. The Bosch ones are made in Czech or some other industrially-backward Eastern European country. The quality isn't really better than the stuff coming out of Taiwan.

clear corners

i agree with brother dave singer!

tony c the other ones are JUNK! TRASH! you are FLUSHING your money away!

i bought some off e-bay, in 2 months the rubber was cracking. they just felt cheap. did i say cheap!

i ordered mine from euro-car parts in the u.k. they were shipped thru the mail, my total investment was around $ 58.00 u.s. dollars!

bekkers wants to kill you on their pricing. IMHO

get the originals, you'll be glad you did.

I did have them when I was trying to make the car look less "old-age" ... one day, one of the yellow ones came off when the car was running at high speeds on the highway, one of the two lugs must've been broken..

so I thought, good... chance to buy the white ones, now after 4 years.. I traded the white ones for the yellow ones again.. they look better IMO.. cuz my car is completely stock 'cept for the 16" rims and Lorinser exhaust...
maybe if the car's fully modified it'd look better w/ white ones..

I got a set for my 560 and thought they were of inferior quality to the originals however they were reasonably cheap and came with everything required. If they start to deteriate then I will put the originals back on.

ebennz-

Do you have a site or contact number for euro-car parts? i am looking for the euro style headlights, hopefully less expensive than the ones I've seen.

As for clear vs. amber..... I stuck with amber, but if I had a white or silver car, I probably would go clear.

the web-site address is http://www.euro-car-parts.com/phone in the u.k. [they are about 6 hours ahead of us on east coast]
+44 [0]20 8956 5000 matt buerney sales

they will not be able to [most likely]help you.all of the british cars are RIGHT HAND DRIVE.
the light pattern breaks to the left, instead of the right.basically you would be "blinding"oncoming traffic.

there are a number of places you can get your lights

http://www.adsitco.com/index.html is where i got my oem bosch lights. 10% discount for fax orders. they also have USED ones available.

also http://www.capitolwest.com/

also http://www.bekkers.com/index.html if you want oem clear turns, you best overall price for new ones is here.

also http://www.hella.com/maineng/lev1b/lev2bb/lev3bbc/lev4bbcb/content/mercedesw124.htm

credit for the hella page goes to JCE.

you might get lucky and find some on e-bay

there are many other places i'm sure
