looking to do a 2.82 swap in my 1992 400E this diff is out of a 1993 400SEL

Looks like it has two ABS sensors which is something ASR needs.

Yes, that is an ASR diff, since it has a speed sensor above each axle flange.

ABS diffs have a single sensor at the pinion.

Do you have it installed yet? Don't forget you'll need a speedometer conversion box as well...
