My Lucky Wife & 1994 E500 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
Good afternoon- just a post to add to our 500e/e500 database:
Just received the E500 (37.2k) back from Fac Auth Service Had the check engine light come on Sunday AM- upon 1st start in the morning- it was definitely not in limp mode (no duh how I verified this) but idled ever so slightly a bit rough at a stop....cycling ignition did not cause Check Engine Light to go out Cause: DTC: 012, Action: Tech replaced oxygen sensor. My lucky wife had the pleasure of her 1st drive in the E500 bringing it to the shop and her 2nd drive bringing it home! She called me at work to let me know- it's home safely and that it's a really nice fast car and that she liked it alot. [I encourged her to put in a couple of hot laps at Willow Springs last month- but she declined] I can't wait to take it for a spin tonight after I get back from a family holiday dinner! -fad |
