New to posting here.

Hi I know this is a old thread, but I see a recent post.

Read the thread and have some thoughts:

MAG58 #11 M111 144mm rods - I measured the rods out of a 2.3L Kompressor at 149mm's and am pulling another one apart tomorrow. I will check it also.

M120 666lbs. The Beast LOL . I put one in my 240z Datsun...Still working on it, but most of the fab work is done. Just need Turbobandit parts. Let me know if anyone wants to see pictures?

Compression Ratio "misprint" maybe head gasket thicker on those models?

girdle and huge oil pump and rear sump. Would this work for M104?

That's funny...we think alike Ive run alot of senerios like in the post.

M111 Rods for the 2.3L Kompressors is 149mm w/ 29.63mm (caliper?)

Will be using a Nissan ECU to run mine.

#97 True "over under" on the M120

#99 2.8L 144mm right? I think they have to be 149's based on the deck height, stroke, and pin height.

PS I would like to know what engine has these 144's I pulled apart M111 and it has a higher deck than M104/M103's, and the rods measure 149mm

PSS I am also building a M104 Turbo. I have a M104.98x (300SL), and a 3.2 L M104.99x (S320). I also have (2) OM603 3.5L cranks and am doing research on stroker, but NOT 3.6L maybe 3.5L

Nope you're right. M111 rods are all 149mm as are 2.8L M104.94 engines

The 648 pan and pump *should* bolt up to a 104. I don't know if the chain offset is the same though or you'd need to find a different drive sprocket.
