OK.
So. Basically it took me only 7.5 years to get the engine running, from the point where I took it out from the body. The engine was in the machining shop for over two years, guess I was not in a hurry. I got the engine back at the end of the 2018 and put the engine together in early 2019, then had a year off. In 2020 I started to look at the body. It required new fuel lines and brake lines. When I removed the rear subframe, I noticed that the body required also a lot of welding. So, I welded from jan 21 to may 21, a few long nights every week, straight after work. I also did a bunch of electrical work and worked with the interior. And I am going to get the car inspected next friday! https://db3pap006files.storage.live....&cropmode=none https://db3pap006files.storage.live....&cropmode=none EDIT: Not too much performance though. Original carb, exhaust and cams. I assembled the engine with the new Ross pistons, new bearings etc. Not too sure anymore about the fuel system, might go with Megasquirt, since I want ethanol. I have a 722.3 gearbox waiting which needs to be overhauled. |
And pentas, nice. -CTH
