Funny, over a year later we go look at that pile and it gets me thinking about cams again. Tony h do you see any issue with running alloy block euro 3.8 cams on iron block 4.5 kjet heads? The 3.8 euro engine redlines at 6600 rpm and peak hp is 215hp @ 5500, torque peak 221 @ 4000 compared to 180hp @4750 and 220 lb/ft @3000 peak on the 4.5 kjet. Are the bearings sizes and other critical dimensions identical?

I cant find the email you sent me with cam info. This is what was in my 4.5 "mystery motor" in the car. No engine number stamped in the rear of the block whatsoever. It's tall deck iron block is all I know. Right looks like a
sideways 8 and 01. And left is a p 00. Anything special?

U.S 5.6 has slightly more lift .294 in .292 ex at cam. Wish I had a degree wheel right now. Oh well. It's going in the car now.
