In short - does anyone have specific instruction on how to defeat ASR w/ a switch (like the 500E 2phast setup) on a 1995 M104 w/ ASR2?
I have a 1995 E320 with a quaife LSD swapped in the rear w/ a smaller housing from a donor without ASR.
I'm not getting any issues or lights with driving, though I feel that something is slightly off with the throttle and I have a hard time getting the rear do actually do anything limited-slippy.
If the rear connections are not there/connected as they were with the stock ASR diff - and the wheel sensors/speed sensors are in good working order - is ASR just naturally defeated? Everything else is connected as it would be from the factory.
Would this cause any issues with the throttle body - or would swapping an M104 throttle body from a donor without ASR work as well?
I've searched high and low and cannot find a specific instance where somehow has laid out exactly what to do.
