Question Intercoolers: Air-Air vs. Air-Water???

Hey!
What are advantages and disadvantages for these two types of intercoolers for a street driven car? I know for drag cars, air-water is good because you can put ice in the tank and really cool the air down. Don't air-water I/Cs also have less pressure drop? Why do you see air-airs on almost all performance vehicles??
I'm still trying to figure out which route to take on my Turbo 16V. 190Es don't have a lot of room to put an I/C in unless you're willing to give up the A/C and mount it in front of the radiator...What should I do?? BTW, I'm planning on making 400+ HP @ 20-25 PSI boost!

Later!
