Top speed limit delete S55 (03)
Do you know of available chip programming to delete the limiter on a AMG '03 S55. I have tried both Brabus and RennTech USA and they have nothing on their websites

Only way for this is to do a European Delivery and ask the AMG
boys real nicely to take it off. They are the only ones who can get into the me2.8.1 software to do it. Call AMG (Cash Talks). S55 goes around 180+ unlimited. |
Indeed-even the KLEEMANN delimiter only ups it to 155 or so:rolleyes:

Standard VMAX is at 155- we set ours to 185. Unlimited VMAX is only asking for trouble.

Its all part of the Gentlemen's Agreement between the German car manufacturers to limit the cars to 155. Plus where in the US can you go any faster than 75 mph...
After visiting the Autobahn last month, I know why our roads are limited. |
