I think I have posted this before. This car has been on the lot at this dealer for a while. Why would anyone paint such a beautiful car such an ugly color? Don't get me wrong, if someone gave it to me, I would be more than happy to drive it...:cool:

People have different tastes...I like it, Im sure albert ExtremeE500 probably loves the color.

Did you see Extreme's car featured in the new BENZO magazine? Nice article and lots of great pics. I didn't realize he was running a 400E in drag! :p

No I hadn't seen the article in benzo, but I did know that. It probably costs more to convert a 400E into a 500E, than just getting a 500E, but it would be a fun project.

It was a cosmetic conversion (bodywork only). The internals are still all 400E, AFAIK.

Sorry I wasnt clear enough. You can buy a 400E for about 10k, and a 500E is about 15-20K, 500E fenders are about 200 each, then the hood is about 500-700, and the front bumper is about 2k, I think the 500E front end parts are about 5500 list price added up, and then the paint job 8k, and then all the other cool stuff that Albert did, priceless...

A 500E engine is about 6k on ebay...
