New BMW 5 Series

Greetings,

Just saw exterior and interior pics of the new 5 in UK BMW enthusiast mag. Is it just me, or has Bangle really bollocksed it up? Did Banlge even work on the 5?

Exterior is absolutely hideous in my view. Interior is a replica of the 7. Could be good news for MB, given that the new E (of which I am not a big fan) is absolutely drop dead gorgeous compared to the new 5.

Comments?

Hmmm...well, I dig the new BMW 7 interior and had one alone for about an hour and 40 miles last summer. Not a fan of the new 7s exterior styling or performance and the new E-class, to me, is a sharper looking design.

New E55 looks to be spectacular on all fronts. Makes the old 500E look like a dinosaur according to the numbers it puts out too. Can't wait to get in one and see.

NEW 7 SERIES EXTERIOR IS BUTT UGLY. I don't know what BMW was thinking. Some people like it apparently. There is only one decent car they make and that is the M5. I have to give it to them for that car. What other street car has 8 individual throttle bodies that comes that way from the factory?
