Pics of my new AMG front spoiler, W124

Finally painted and assembled. Sorry for the bad picture quality, I'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks. I ordered it from Performance Products. They made several mistakes and it ended up taking 8 weeks, came straight from AMG.

Thanks, I think it looks great. Really makes it look much more up to date.

I spent a lot more than I wanted to spend, that's why it took me so long to do it. $836 for the front spoiler and another $950 to paint the lower half. I took the cladding off and put it back on myself, or it would have been $1450 for paint. I took it to a really good body shop, thanks Neil.

I changed my mind on an E500 because I'd want a really nice one, and I can't justify spending that kind of $$ for one right now. Besides, with the 2.82 rear end, I have no problem keeping up with any MB, AMG's excluded.

Wow! That car looks sweet! .. hmmm how can I make mine look like that too... rims maybe

Did it come w/ the fog lights? Now you aren't missing the fogs from using the E500's lights!

Thanks. I was wondering when you were going to jump in Holson. Now we both have 300CD's and E420's. I have to admit, the E is a fun car to drive, but I still love my CD.

The front spoiler did come with the fogs, but the connector that AMG sent is a 6 pin, so I'm searching for a 4 pin. The stealership is looking into it for me.

BTW, those are the stock headlights, so now I have 2 sets of fogs.

It'll have to keep begging. I don't care for the AMG side skirts. I could put the E500 side skirts on, but at $350 each side, plus paint, I think I'll wait. I have 3 Jeeps that need my attention also.

Looks sharp! I am glad you got it done.

Do you know the part number for the one that looks like that, but fits the 500E? I think from the W124 E60. Trying to find it out for my friend.

Yeah I agree the E420 is fun to drive, comfortable, firm enough to handle OK, looks good, and that V-8!!

But The diesel always brings a smile to my face and I see more nice smiles on the road when people look at the CD.

stick the connector thats six pin on the headlight and move the pins around to the US headlights, then put the four pin plug into the six pin plug. It should work. Make sure you move the pins where they should be though.

I'll check it out. When I tried to put the 6 pin on the headlight socket, it didn't seem to fit very well.

How do I move the pins??

Take the back of the connector off using a couple small screw drivers. Make sure your car battery is disconnected.

Actually I have another idea. You could take the back of the headlight connector off, figure out which terminal goes to high beam, low beam, fog, and ground. Then you can wire your lower fog lights to come on from the ground and foglight in the headlight bucket by splicing into that connector, then you wouldnt need to use the six pin connector double sided connector.
