Access to Fuel Tank Sending Unit?
 
My gas guage failed and I think it's the sender in the tank. I will check the guage before pulling it out but my question is how to access the tank. Do you have to pull the panel between the trunk and tank? Please advise.

No, you can get at the sender from the top, where the top boot is.

Is there an access hole?

Is there a plate to remove? I don't recall seeing any access.
Edit: DUH, it's under the plastic cover that pries off.
