Can anyone recommend a place to replace the plastic windows for the R129 soft top in the Washington DC area? My windows are very foggy and dirty and won't clear up after cleaning (I tried the Plexus cleaner). Also, does anyone have an estimate on the cost?
Thanks in advance |

Lim's on Tyco Road in Tyson's/Vienna. Clueless on the cost, but Mr. Lim is very fair.

Thanks, ctaylor738, but I got this late. I got 2 recommendations for Herbs Gordon Mercedes: Paymer & Phillips 301-953-0300; and Adler & Mandel 301-881-3525. Even though Adler & Mandel was cheaper overall, they were trying to covince me to replace at least part of my soft top for better cosmetic result saying that many customers complain about the new stitching when replacing the plastic windows. He said that having the factory stitching with top replacement would be best. In fact I don't think I got a quote for just the window replacement. I went with Paymer & Phillips and got the windows replaced. The stitching was fine. They did a great job. It was like night and day having those windows replaced (my old ones were really cloudy and brown). I would definitely recommend Paymer & Phillips. |

I am interested to know how long it took to get the car back. Thanks.
