need a favor

I've got a 1980 450sl that I want to get on collector car status. Unfortunately the stock radio was replaced with a Blaupunkt cd player by the previous owner. I am unsuccessful in finding a Becker GrandPrix to satisfy the collector status application.
I'd be hugely appreciative if someone could send me a digital photo of their console with the stock stereo installed. My car has a blue interior.
My email addy is fasted@shaw.ca

Thanks in advance

Ed

Collector car status for what?

Ebay almost always has Grand Prix Radios up. However, there are at least two versions.

collector car status?

Is this for inurance purposes or what? If insurance, Chubb has antique car insurance . Know of no requirement for original radio for insurance purposes. All needed is qualified appraisel. good luck Abe G PS my experience with becker radio is that they stink!!

Are you sure?

1980 is early for a Grand Prix, which is an electronic radio.

You might wanna check on that. I think they were still putting the Europa's and Mexico's in the cars in 1980.

eebel@beckerautosound.com (Ed Ebel) is the authority.

Hi,
I went to Penticton today and saw a 75? 450SE for sale (for parts). It sits in a storage yard, is complete, has becker radio, the guy has papers, he wants $ 500 Cdn. I was looking for a early 80's 380SE/SEL/SL as a parts car when I came across this one. Give me a call 250-295-1023
