450SL Oil Pressure

I'm curious how much oil pressure my guage should indicate on my 1980 SL. When I first start it cold and continuing for the first 15 minutes, the guage indicates "3" when at idle. After 15 minutes or so (car fully warmed up), it shows less. At 1000 RPM, it shows "2", and at idle, just a little above a "1". Is this normal?
