ignition module
Aloha,

I'm not totally clear on what you are asking, but this may help from my CD for a 1980 450SL -
31 - Brown - Ground 15 - Red/black - Power (hot with ignition on) 16 - Black - Coil TD - Green/white - RPM and tach signal to fuel pump relay

I don't see that on the wiring diagram - there are only 4 pins on the connector.
