380 SL no voltage at the fuel pump

81 380SL. no fuel flow, i checked the voltage at the pump it is not hot. I tested the pump with a 12 volt supply and it works. I disconnected the hot lead and tested with a multimeter and had no response. Is there a relay or control module somewhere?

Its either your fuel pump relay or a fuse. Check fuses first. If that does not work its the relay. Its located behind glovebox. You remove glovebox liner and relay is behind toward the right side. Order a relay from phil ay Fastlane.

After replacing the fuel pump relay, power relay and the EFI module I found a harness connector under the dash. The pin inside the connector supplying power to the fuel pump was badly corroded ....... I cut it off and soldered a new pin in place ..........Also replace ALL fuses ..... You should be fine.
