On a 1995 sl600 where is the fuse for the passenger airbag (SRS)and/or the red dash light? Thank you, ST

There isnt a fuse, I had the same problem went to Mercedes and they unlocked the light, cost $30.00
Good luck

Thank you, I hate to give up but you might have the answer. Going to Damlier-Benz and getting anything done for $30. would be a treat.

I have a code scanner and I've cleared and reset until I'm blue in the face but still have a red SRS dash light. Cheers, ST

You could just pull the instrument cluster out and remove the bulb for the SRS light...

I gave that a half hearted attempt in the beginning. It didn't want to just snap out of there with my dental tools like the old 107's did. Rather than break or mangle we were after a more civilized approach. Should I take a small drill or lazer to the bezel and bulb?

It's nothing like that at all. The bulbs are all accessible from the rear of the cluster without disassembling anything. If you search the archives, you should find instructions for removing the cluster.

You're far too delicate. I would think a Ruger .22 would take out that bulb quite nicely...and never give you another moment's trouble! ;)

Sometimes the best ideas go down in flames. I had the Ruger exactly where I wanted it, being near sighted, old, feable and hurting for good light, I had my nose resting on the rear of the barrel. When I came to this morning the front seat looked like a butcher house floor. One eye is T/U and seven sutures line the bridge of my nose. I have a perfect 22 cal. hole between the bright lights BRAKE-0- SRS. Should have used the 44 mag. S&W. O, like a dummy I had closed the doors and think I've perforated my ear drums.

Remove the under panel from your drivers side dash. You can push your instrument cluster out very easily without danger of damaging it.
