Did anyone here just score a '65 230SL for <$4K?
I was in Daytona Beach this evening visiting my mother and I spied an ad in the local mullet wrapper for one of these. It had just sold. Of course , I was dying to know if it was a basket case or not,but the seller had no interest in chatting. 
Oh well, back to those clattering diesels. Maybe I'll join your fraternity some day..
