107 Driveshaft Removal ?
O.. , I have both ends and the center support all disconnected but there's a center locating pin in each yoke so it won't drop down and come out what do I do now ? .
I've pried it back and forth as far as it's going to go , not enough clearance to drop either end....... TIA ,

Loosen the nut in the center of the drive shaft. That will allow the shafts to slide on a spline.

THANX John ! .
I had hammered it close with my dead blow hammer allready . It turned out I was trying to " flat rate " it and hadn't dropped the exhaust ~ I did so this morning and popped it right off , got it all fixed up and replaced the rubbery tranny mount too ~ it's all nice and tight again , no more thumping under the body tub . As it turns out , the tranny mount fits a LOT of other Mercedes , I found a brandy new one on a gently wrecked W-114 Sedan to-day along with those $pendy rubber discs... I didn't take the discs as I'd forgotten the proper tools . Those rubber discs fit all the way back to 108 chassis....
