Deceleration drone?

1982 380SL.
Have developed a strange vibration or slight drone in rear end that only seems to occur when decelerating at high speeds. Not noticeable until I let off the gas and begin coasting. Disappears around 55 mph.
Any insight? Bad rear bearings? (Front bearings replaced recently).
