that old timing chain

I installed the new simplex chain on my '82 380SL and here is the before and after conditions:

Before---- RH Cam on mark, LH Cam about 1/16" past mark , Crank pulley 13 degrees ATDC

After------RH cam on mark, LH cam on mark , Crank pulley 4 degrees ATDC

Seems good?

Any advice on checking this at intervals to verify settings after driving?

Also anyone know the correct iginition timing? the CD I have is a little confusing>

Thanks
