How to disconnect wiper nozzle from the connector?
How to disconnect wiper nozzle from the connector? My old heater connector was shredded from too much junk getting stuck by the heater element. I have a new heated connector (1078690324) and can’t figure out how to disconnect the nozzle from the old connector. It looks like it should just pull a part, but, for the life of me, I can’t get them separated. Can anyone help me out?

Unfortunatly these get very hard and brittle. So the proceedure is to pull very hard. But dont pull it so hard you bend the hood. More than likely will find that both the nozzel and heater will have to be replaced.

broken 32!
Hi Michael and John
I've a broken "32" and you're right John when you say they get brittle - mine was broken by my Indie when he was trying to adjust/clear the jet. Do you know wher to get a replacement - I've tried Unwired "above" amongst others but not knowing the part number /proper description I can't find one on the search. You're help would be apreciated John (by us both I guess) Cheers Jim

Thanks again, John. All is now well. I was going to do an off-color, satirical pictorial, but then I opened a bottle of wine. Let's just say she, or, in this case, he, has a renewed vigor.
Jim, the heated connector is 1078690324 and the nozzle (including the rubber grommet) is 1078600147. Dealership parts counter had both in stock. The old connector was shredded and came a part in pieces. Getting the old nozzle out was the tricky part. I ended up using wire cutting pliers to break off the back end of it. Once I had the whole thing out, the new parts snapped together and plugged into the existing wiring. Adjusted the aim of the jets with a sewing needle. Together the parts should be about 25,00 in your money.
