For the fun of it Trans conversion?? to 5/6 speed?

Can it be done?? can the automatic be converted to a standard? Any other of the same drivetrain/engine used in different models which use a standard? Hmmmm would be really cool.

Not gona do it at least not now but still it would be cool.

Hell, if you are serious about making a 5/6 speed conversion, talk to these people on this thread. I think your trannie mates to the same coupling that these do. Here is the thread.

Wow thanks. Their talking about what I am. But about a different model. I added my two cents. (which isnt worth that)

So what do I need?
-a mb sl series, six cylinder, that was standard.
- a ton of specs to see if the drive trains can be swapped/used.

Mal, would the one in your signature happen to be 9111300634? I used to own it, got bent by hitting a dog. I believe said dog was painted on the side of a bus

woops tought you thought that was me in vid.

my 911? I dont think so. It came from Italy. Bought it from an air force guy who had it shipped over when he returned. Has no body damage. Well a minor dent on the hood from where a kid slid down it but other than that no damage.
